Here is a brief overview on how to get on the first page
of Google in a few hours (certainly less than a day).

The first part begins by finding that elusive ‘long tail keyword’.

This is part science and part art.

Let’s assume that our niche is ‘Hoodia’.

Go to http://tools.seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook/
and type hoodia into the search box.

Eventually, we are looking for a keyword that returns less
than a 1,000 results in Google and has something like 2 to 7
searches per day.

Scroll down and one keyword that you will find is ‘hoodia
weight loss pills’. This has about 26 searches per day on
Google and is still too high.

Click on the keyword to drill down. Here we’ll find one of
the keywords ‘pure hoodia cactus weight loss formula’ which
has 3 searches per day on Google and 236 returns for results.

This is very good and it is easy to rank on page one for this
keyword. However, this is not good enough and this is where
a lot of beginners make their mistake.

We need one more element if we are going to make any money.
We need a long tail keyword that is also a buying keyword.

A buying keyword is one that someone types into the search
engine when they are ready to buy and not just doing research.

As an example: ‘best place to buy hoodia’. This keyword returns
689 results in Google. Plus, it is obviously a buying keyword.

Here’s what you do:

Post an article to your WordPress blog titled ‘Best Place To Buy Hoodia’.

Find 4 to 11 long tail keywords with 2 to 7 searches per day that return
less than 1,000 results in Google.

Go to http://www.socialmarker.com/ and bookmark your new post
(click on the title of your post and copy and paste title which should be
http://yourdomainname.com/best-place-to-buy-hoodia).
Include Digg, Reddit, Stumbleupon, Propeller, Mixx & Technorati.

Add the RSS feed for this article to:
http://www.bloglines.com/
http://www.feedage.com/
http://feeds2read.net/
http://friendfeed.com/
http://www.lifestream.fm/
http://www.profilactic.com/

That should do it. 24 hours or less on the first page of Google for
your keyword. Good luck and let me know how you make out.

Best,

Scott
